Change the hose of the windscreen washing system.... ;-(

Hi together......

I was previously looking for the whereabouts of the water in "normal" (not "intensive cleaning equipment") actuation of the windscreen wipers....

Result: A line has burst... I guess it was a little too cold... but I noticed that these are so stupid plastic pipes... I have now traced it so far that it goes at one end to the left nozzle of the bonnet; the other end disappears in the depths of the front engine compartment..... if I understand the guide correctly, this line goes to the bottom of the main water tank, where it is connected to the pump... Is that true or did I misinterpret it? Now for the change... Am I right that I don't come around to mount the bumper in the front, that I come from the front to the left corner, where all the stuff is? Can I also use normal rubber hose if the friendly hardware store has one with a suitable diameter or does this plastic pipe fulfil a specific purpose?

P.S. Intensive wash sprays perfectly...... Headlight cleaning is probably not so... Car has heating, in so far spatially rather tight in front...
