On my A8 the 120'000 inspection (change of belt, etc.) was carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday. Unfortunately, this stay as so often did not go without damage.
When I picked up the car, the seat was completely adjusted on the passenger side (probably pressed to the switches when vacuuming), the headrest had gone down completely. Now it can no longer be driven up (but you can hear the electric engine working). Then I pulled it at home, a little jerk, and the headrest was pulled out completely without resistance (and with the push on the corresponding bar even completely removed).
If I put it back in, it'll fall back down without resistance...

What's that putt? Or is it possible that Audi has installed some mechanism here to expand the headrests - somehow with a Ctrl-Alt-Del key combination on the adjustment switches
So you can use the headrest with a trick again?Does anyone know this phenomenon? How much monetary effort do I have to reckon with this time...?
Greetings,
Michi
