yesterday I had to expand the blower box. For this I have built a special tool, which is very similar to that of VAG. This makes the removal convenient for one person with attached hood. In particular, it is not necessary to tear from the box in any place, but in the very place where the force produces the greatest lever.
I will also post an article in the FAQs. But I also want to take a few pictures, and I have to borrow a digital camera. Of course, I would be happy to lend this tool!
Three more remarks: Before disassembly, release the cooling fluid so that nothing runs into the interior; the seal between the body and the box should always be renewed to eliminate the intrusion of water and / or noise; in the passenger footroom, a cable connector is from the underpressure lines that should be pre-separated.

bei mir müßte auch das Gebläse raus um die Kohlen zu wechseln, denn mein Gebläse funktioniert auch nicht mehr.
Wir könnten uns doch zusammentun um das bei mir zu erledigen, denn ich hab ne Digicam, und du das Werkzeug;-)
Außerdem wohnen wir doch gar nicht so weit auseinander, oder?

das können wir gerne tun; wo wohnst Du denn? Und wir sollten einen Termin abstimmen, denn die kommenden drei Wochen bin ich schon ausgebucht. Aber es wäre toll, quasi eine bebilderte "Anleitung" zu machen.
