I finally had time this weekend to take care of this fucking idle control valve. My car has been running out in the stand all the time. So removed and properly flushed with brake cleaner. It's pretty clean now, but I think I could have pinched the action: the valve seems to be hanging! It can be easily moved, but it cannot be opened further than 1.5 mm. A clearly palpable metallic sounding resistance seems to prevent the opening...
My questions: Is that normal? Is it broken? How much does a new one cost? Who's got a used one for me?
I hope for early reactions. Currently. I slow down with the left and hold some gas with the right (doesn't think the gearbox is funny and stays already in the 3. hang - until restart, as with Windows)
