All A8s from 05/94 to 12/99 are called in Audi workshops, the rubber cuffs around the ball joint of the handlebar left and right are checked, lasting 20 min, if it should be exchanged 1 hour.
More than 800 000 vehicles (Passat, A4, A8 and A6) are recalled. Running on the news, just called Audi AG, they set up an extra service station for it (0800/7762332), then I called 3 Audi Wertkstätten, all of which were totally overloaded and still had no idea what to do.
I have now talked to Audi again, the workshops should have been informed since today, so do not let it run away, like e.g. with: They are written by Audi! This does not happen because it comes in the news and there is an extra service number.
