I have been looking for an Audi A8 3.7 quattro for a long time.Bj.99. and today I finally found it.The only thing that bothers me about the A8 is that when you switch it from (automatic) D to N you notice that it shakes (vibrations).That's what it does when you let it run in N or P. The cavities are perfectly normal and also very clean.Now I only ask myself about the engine or the gearbox.Unfortunately, I don't have the idea of the automatic in the A8. I'm just used to the good old 20V turbos from Audi.

dachte hier wäre alles auf englisch, na ja egal...
schütteln war bei mir auch (standgas, bei n noch mehr wie bei d)
habe allerdings nen 3.3 tdi.
das gewackel kam bei mir von falschen steuerzeiten durch nicht richtig eingebaute nockenwellen. wurde bei dir der zahnriemen bzw. eine odere mehrere nockenwellen getauscht ? könnte was damit zu tun haben. möglicherweise läuft auch ein zylinder nicht richtig mit.
würde mal den frank konnopasch konsultieren, der hat mir auch geholfen. gruß erik
