I'm gonna have to tell you something very scurile. I just got mail from an anton from Crotia, who writes to me the following:
"Please Mr. i am having problems with my Audi v8,3,6 1991.quattro.Advice will be most appreciated!
Car will not go in reverse-when i put it in position R it goes forward not in reverse!Also when i put it in N car goes forward.When in D it goes forward and shift good but after some time gear box started to sounds strangely(czzzzzzz) and a litllebit of smoke comes from it!Also car when gas pedal is pushed hardly it"s not accelerating good but slowly with this strange sound...
Do you maybe have idea what could be the problem with the gearbox?

I just wrote back to him that I'll do my best to help him. But honestly, I have no idea where to start, since I've never heard anything like it. All I suspect is that it's a mechanical problem and not an electronic one. and that if he tries again to produce this said "czzzzzzz" noise
. his gear completely gives up the mind if it has not already done so now. well, I think that in Croatia there are not every corner of V8 species . I'd like to help a fellow sufferer. So, what do you say?gruss kai *scratches at the head, beer pure
