Hello forum,
the V8 has according to year of construction 2 systems for the seat heating. In the first system 2 external relays are required up to approx. 1992
In the second and last system there are no relays anymore. Instead, the seat heating switches are much longer than the old ones because the electronics were integrated there.
Ask now:
If the system is compatible with each other or the seat heating elements in the seat are also different, so that I have seats from a post-facelifter (Bj. 93) just can not install in a front face lift (Bj.89) without the ass burning up?
The plugs are equal to the seats.

hi franck, hab das selbe problem, in meinem 93er die conolly sitze raus und die vor 92er sport rein (hätte klar lieber die 93er sportsitze)
die SH funtioniert mit den 93er schaltern nicht mehr, bekomme aber demnächst zwei SH schalter von marcel müller (danke an dieser stelle) und muss mich noch mal in den stromlauf vertiefen von wegen relais usw.
kann dir gerne berichten, musst mich nur erinnern.
alternativ wäre ich natürlich auch dankbar für weitere tipps, bevor ich mich auf die suche mache und das rad zum xten mal neu erfinde
